A Special Place in my Heart

Hi there, I completely forgot to post that on DA too (for now it was only on Instagram and Behance), so it's time for an update ! 
I don't do fan arts very often, but I was looking for an opportunity to try my new set of gouaches... So I made a small serie of 3 illustrations about moomins, because they followed me all my life and deserve a special tribute... :')

For the little story: 

When I was a child I used to read the moomin books before sleeping, and I fall asleep dreaming of their fantastic adventures. 
I saw sometines an animated version on TV, but I remember it was after diner and we were not allowed to stay, so it was like a very special moment. 
By the way, I always thought it was in black & white because my parents had this old black and white TV at home for a long time... Then I re-discover them many years later , so joyful and colorful. haha ! ( Now I feel the youngest fellows here will think I'm very old !!! -_-"')

Few years ago, someone offered to me a reedition of the first comic strip (1945), and I fall in love. It was more mature and satirical, but allways this great philosophy of life: simplicity and happiness !Today I'm proud to live like a Moomin and enjoy the little moments of life ! :')
